OMEGA Blechbearbeitung AG contributes for hospice association in Limbach-Oberfrohna
Free hospice association expands offer for survivors in Limbach-Oberfrohna | OMEGA Blechbearbeitung AG and AMS Technology GmbH contribute for the creation of a new mourning group
Limbach-Oberfrohna. The companies AMS Technology GmbH and OMEGA Blechbearbeitung AG support the Freien Hospizvereins Erzgebirgsvorland e.V. with a contribution of 1.000 Euro. The companies get involved with its region under the motto „Gifts instead of give“ instead of donating christmas presents to business customers.
A heavy time begins for many people with the death of a beloved family member. The ambulant hospice and palliative consulting association of the Freien Hospizvereins Erzgebirgsvorland e.V. commits themselves to the headline "Shared instead of alone". A local group has already been active since three years in Limbach-Oberfrohna: The two employees and 17 voluntary hospice helpers accompany people in their last days of life and support the survivors in their mourning. Now, a mourning meeting place shall provide a protected room for encounters and the exchange of thoughts with other persons concerned.
The companies AMS Technology GmbH and OMEGA Blechbearbeitung AG get involved with the implementation of this group: "The work with dolorous people requires lots of commitment and empathy. We are looking forward to supporting those people with our contribution that give comfort and power", Dr. Uwe Landmann explains, managing director of the AMS Technology GmbH.
The first meeting of the mourning group will be taken place on the 12th February 2014. Then survivors can always come together at the second Wednesday of the month for the exchange. The participation is free of charge. "Due to the contribution, it is possible for us to finance the meetings. We have to rent rooms in order to provide enought space for alle dolorous people. Besides, we need materials for the planned creative offer because mourning needs a type of expression which can reach beyond talking", Rainer Schulz explains, chairman of the association. That is why the team includes common walks as well as floral creation or cooking.
As different we are as people as different the reaction is to the loss of a loving person. The mourning assistants help the survivors individually by accompanying visits and talks. The mourning group shall help the persons concerned to live their own life and to open themselves again: "It is often hard for dolorous people to look for new contacts after a loss and to go up to other people. The group provides the possibility for survivors to network again and to keep grounded in life again", Nadine Körner states, coordinator of the local group Limbach-Oberfrohna, from her experiences.
